Nokia’s N79 Active is hoping for some fitness followers with the announcement that there will be a Polar wireless Bluetooth WearLink heart rate belt included in the pack. Runners can pair that up with the phone’s sports tracker application which allows recording and publishing of favourite routes along, the tracks you train to and fitness data on the web. Let’s hope no jogging-enthusiast nutters are reading.
If you don’t care a jot about running, there’s a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, fashion case colours, download music from the Nokia Music Store or use the FM transmitter for radio. You’ll also get sporty headphones, an armband and a 4GB microSD memory card included for around Euro375.
